Overview:

Excursion in 4x4 will allow you in a few hours to cover the lush oasis of Tahnaoute, the highest point of the High Atlas mountains. Winding roads will take you through the beautiful villages of Tahnaoute, Asni - known for its local Saturday market. Then a passage to the Kik plateau and the village of Tifrouine before relaxing and having lunch on the shores of Lake Lalla Takerkoust. The afternoon ; you will discover and experience a real change of scenery in the immensity of a desert landscape in Agafay. Return to Marrakech around 4:00 p.m.

Departure & Return

Your driver will come to pick you up from your hotel or Riad in any where in Marrakech. We can also meet you at Restaurant Cafe Argana in Jemaa El fna square at 9:00 am

 

What to pack and wear when hiking in the Atlas Mountains :

Mountain weather the world over is notoriously fickle and unpredictable, and Atlas Mountain  is no exception. Average temperatures in and around the Atlas vary greatly from season to season and depending on elevation, ranging from well below zero in winter months to the high 45s in summer.
I definitely suggest to wear your the right clothes and packing the right kit ; it is absolutely essential.
